Simkar is pleased to announce Altus Energy, our new dedicated T5 lensed recessed family of luminaires. Like the Altus family of dedicated T5 direct/indirect microperf fixtures, the Altus Energy addresses the growing market for T5 lensed units.
With the push towards more green solutions, we have responded with a lens design that has all the advantages of the original Altus, but allows more light to be transmitted through the direct component of the system to product a high efficiency fixture.
The white, translucent lenses have been carefully engineered to refract uniform light in a wide distribution pattern while allowing a low glare, but high transmission solution. Unlike some competitive lensed fixtures, we have retained the indirect component of the design to boost efficiency and enhance aesthetics.
This new offering comes in two models: Center and Dual. Like its Altus sister, the Altus Energy center model has the exclusive adjustable basket system that allows you to lower the lens two additional positions to increase the light output, change the light distribution pattern, and alter the look of the fixture. You have control over your lighting environments with a simple, positive lock adjustment.
You now have two lighting solution for you the architectural recessed market: a perf design and a lens design!
