From Philadelphia Airport: Take Route 95 North. Exit at Allegheny Ave. Turn left at bottom of ramp, go under overpass and turn right immediately on Richmond St. Take Richmond to Castor. Turn left on Castor. Take Castor to Hunting Park Ave. Turn left on Hunting Park Ave. Take Hunting Park Ave. to G Street. Turn right on G Street. Take G St. to Ramona Ave. Turn left on Ramona. SIMKAR is at the end of the block.
From New England, New York or Northern New Jersey: Take New Jersey Turnpike south to Exit 6, Pennsylvania. Travel 8.7 miles over the bridge and toll to exit 351 of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Follow Directions below to SIMKAR from Exit 351 formerly exit 28.
To SIMKAR from Exit 351: Travel south on Route 1 approximately 10 miles to Whitaker Avenue (landmark is Walmart/Hometown Buffet/Staples in shopping center on right). Make left turn onto S. Whitaker from center/left-hand lane.
Cars: Take Whitaker approx. 6 blocks. Make left at light onto Wyoming Ave. Make right at first light onto G Street. Go 2 stop signs to Ramona Avenue. Turn right on Ramona and proceed to guard station at entrance to SIMKAR facility.
Trucks: Take Whitaker to Hunting Park. Turn left on Hunting Park to G Street. Turn left on G Street to Ramona Ave. Turn left on Ramona and proceed to guard station at entrance to SIMKAR facility.
From Northeast Extension of Pennsylvania Turnpike/Route 476 (formerly Rt. 9): This is the suggested route from the Scranton-Wilkes Barre area and/or eastbound PA Route 80. Take the Northeast Extension south. The Northeast Extension will turn into Route 476 South. Take Interstate 76 East Exit (towards Center City). Follow directions from Interstate 76 East listed below in the "From Pittsburgh, Harrisburg and Valley Forge area" section.
From Pittsburgh, Harrisburg and Valley Forge Area: From the Valley Forge Exit of the Pennsylvania Turnpike take Interstate 76 East approx. 12 miles to Route 1 North. Go north on Rt. 1 approx. 6 miles. After passing Front, Rising Sun, and C streets, turn right onto F Street at the Sunoco station. Go 1 block to Whitaker Ave. Follow directions below to SIMKAR from Whitaker Ave.
To SIMKAR from Whitaker Ave
Cars: Turn right on Whitaker and follow to Wyoming Ave. Turn left on Wyoming, then make right at first light, G Street. Go 2 stop signs to Ramona Ave. Turn right on Ramona and proceed to guard station at entrance to SIMKAR facility.
Trucks: Take Whitaker to Hunting Park. Turn left on Hunting Park to G Street. Turn left on G Street to Ramona Ave. Turn left on Ramona.
From Center City: Take Interstate 76 West to Route 1 North. Go north on Rt. 1 approx. 6 miles. After passing Front, Rising Sun, and C streets, turn right onto F Street at the Sunoco station. Go 1 block to Whitaker Ave. Follow directions to SIMKAR to Whitaker Avenue listed above.
From Route 95 North: SIMKAR is north of Walt Whitman and Ben Franklin Bridges. Follow directions from the Philadelphia Airport listed above.
From Route 95 South: Take Bridge Street exit. Make a right onto Bridge Street and follow for two lights to Torresdale. Make a left onto Torresdale for 2+ miles where it curves right and becomes Erie. Continue to "G" Street (Coca Cola bottling plant on corner). Turn right on "G" past Hunting Park to Ramona Ave. Turn left and proceed to guard station at the entrance of the SIMKAR facility.
