Simkar is proud to announce a family of demanding environment T5/T8 luminaires that will stand up to the forces of wind, water, temperature extremes, dust, salt, and abuse.

The EN2 series is an indoor/outdoor, corrosion proof, enclosed and gasketed fixture that does it all.

Simkar’s weatherproof EN2 Series luminaires are a low profile design and comes in 2’, 4’, and 8’ lengths. The 2’ and 4’ units come in 4” and 6.8” widths and the 8” unit is 6.8” wide.

You have choices of 1, 2, or 3 lamp versions to meet your lighting needs.

The housings are made of custom reinforced, thermal-set polyester that is corrosion resistant and will withstand extreme abuse and neglect.

The horizontally ribbed diffuser lenses were engineered for superior strength, ease of cleaning, and optical uniformity. These tough lenses are available in injection molded, clear, UV stabilized polycarbonate (2’ and 4’ units) or 100% certified High Impact acrylic versions (4’ and 8’ units).

The sealing flanges of the lenses were designed to work in conjunction with our custom formulated foam-in-place, non-reticulated polyurethane gasket. This gasket is a seamless gasket that chemically attaches to the housing and is robotically applied to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability.

As a result of this design system, we have been able to achieve IP65 ratings for the 2’ units (dust free with hose down) and IP67 ratings for the 4’ and 8’ units (dust free with temporary submersion under water for 30 minutes). The 2’, 4’, and 8’ units are also certified for NSF high pressure wash down splash zone areas.
