TASK LIGHTING

Task lighting is used to provide illumination for a specific activity such as product assembly, paperwork, food preparation and others. Task lighting is often mounted under shelves and cabinets, however Simkar also manufactures fixtures for wall mounting. Because task lights are mounted closer to the work surface, lower wattage lamps can produce the required illumination and cut energy costs. Beginning with a choice of translucent, opaque or solid fronts (essential for controlling glare at eye level), Simkar task lighting gives you a wide choice of fixtures for any application.
